Moving and Reordering A Panel Box

Let’s say that you want to move the panel “Language selection” from position A to B like the picture below.

Follow these steps

1. While in “Panel” control panel, go to the list “Language Selection”, then click on the green arrow to move the panel from the right to the left side of the site.
2. The system will move the “Language Selection” panel to be with the other panels displayed on the left side (at the top of the table) but last in order of left panel list position (position 2 in the picture).
3. Click on the “Edit” link to change the order of the panel.
4. When the Edit Panel box displays, fill 1 in the Order text box to set the Language Selection box as the first panel at the top of left hand side of the screen. Then click Save Panel button.
5. Now, when you go to the Homepage, the Language Selection panel will be the first panel on the left side of the screen as you wanted it.

Notes:

• If you want to move the panel we discussed above, from the right side to the center of the screen (instead of moving from right to left top,) while in the Edit Panel box (like in step 4 above) select “Center” from Panel Side: drop down list.
• If you want to close down any panel, at Main Panels Control, Click on “Disable”.
• If you want to open up any panel that is not yet displayed, at the Main Panels Control, Click on “Enable”.
• You can change the layout, position and order of the panels any way you want (like the 3 pictures below)

• You can change from the 3 column layout (B) to a 2 column layout (A). To do this, you have to move all the panels on the right hand side to the center position.
• To change from the 3 columns layout (B) to the 2 column layout (C), you must to set all panels on the “right” to the “Center” position.

Turning a Panel “On” or “Off”

At the Panels control panel, do the following.

1. In the table, go to the name list of the panel you want to turn on or off. Click on the command Enable or Disable accordingly. In this example, we turn off the display of the Language Selection panel.
