Managing Web Links

ioSys provides Links section that you can add your own web directory in order to provide the convenience for your visitors. For example, your website is all about soccer so you can provide all the famous football leagues web links and other interesting information about soccer by using the Web Links section.

Like other modules; online catalog, shopping cart and image gallery for example, before adding links, users should setup Link categories first. This helps make the systematic and organized links module.

Managing Web Link Categories

In the Web Link Group control panel, to add web link category, do the followings.

1. Type name of the category in Category Name: field, then input its description in Category Description: field and set the permission for viewers to access to the web link at Category Access: field.
2. Click on Save Category button

Editing / Deleting Web Link Category

To make any change to web link category or delete them just simply do the followings

1. In Current Web Link Categories box below, to delete web link category, click on the delete command of the web link category that you want to.
2. To edit web link category, click on its name to load it in the control fields above then make the change you want to.

Adding Web Link

From Manage Web Link control panel, simply do the followings.

1. Type the name of web link in Site Name: field, type the description of the web site you are setting the link to in Description: field, specify the URL of the web site in Site URL: field and set the category for it in Category: field.
2. Click on Save Web Link button to save and add the link in Current Web Links box below.

Editing / Deleting Web Link

In Current Web Links box, all the links added to the system are listed under their categories.

1. Click on the plus sign button on the right of web link category name to expand the link list inside (the button will then change to minus sign). Click on the minus button again to collapse the list ( the button will then change to plus sign.)
2. Clicking on the link name will bring you to the website of that link.
3. To edit or delete the link, click on Edit or Delete command of the link you want accordingly.
